Hartecs were engaged to provide contract administration and verification services on behalf of DTMR Fitzroy.
The project is located on the Bruce Highway (10E) between Benaraby and Rockhampton and comprises a critical piece of the National Highway for the Fitzroy Region. Servicing local communities and acting as the main route for several industries represented by haulage and freight for resources driving the region and the State’s economy. This project scope forms part of the Bruce Highway Safety Project comprising of :
- Full intersection upgrades
- CHR’s Channelized right turns with left hand slip
- Widening existing carriageway to allow auxiliary right-hand turn bays
- PUP location and management by Service Authority as required
- Intersection luminaires and streetlight works
- Associated drainage works and extension and stabilized pavements, unbound pavements, and surfacing operations
